Manageress with all aspects of running the Hafan Cafe, located next to the bus
station in Bangor. Tasks include preparing
and serving hot and cold drinks and snacks, clearing tables and keeping the
customer areas clean and tidy. Hafan

Hafal - Ty Adferiad
Supporting and empowering people with serious mental health issues.Trainee Support Volunteer require to help at the new facility called Ty Adferiad in Porthmadog. Volunteers will engage with service users; take part in activities (walking etc) and general house keeping chores. Training provided.
Cafe Assistant at the Criminal Justice Centre, Caernarfon
The cafe is being run by Age Cymru to raise money to help elderly people in our society.
Volunteer by preparing and serving hot and cold drinks and snacks, clearing tables and keeping the customer area clean and tidy. Training in Food Hygiene is offered.

NYAS (National Yough Advocacy Service)
Independent Visitor
NYAS is a charity providing information, advice, advocacy and legal representation to children and young people. Volunteer Independent Visitors are needed to befriend a child or a young person in care with the aim of developing meaningful, long term relationships with adults. Volunteers fulfilling this role will be able to undertake activities agreed with the child (or young person) and submit brief records on these visits.
Accredited training equivalent to NVQ level 3 will be provided. Volunteers need to be able to give about 3 hours of their time on a monthly basis.

Assistant Play Ranger
The North West Wales Play Forum need volunteers to promote and supervise children (5 - 14) playing outside - helping to create a happy and fun atmosphere.
In Gwynedd, the opportunities are available in Cricieth, Caernarfon and Llandderfel at present.
