NSPCC. ChildLine Schools Service


Volunteers are needed to deliver ChildLine Schools Service to primary school children, with focus on 7-11 year olds.  Volunteers will be using presentations and classroom workshops in order to increase children’s understanding of keeping safe eg abuse and bullying.  There is a greater need for Welsh speakers in Gwynedd and Anglesey.  The minimum period of commitment is deliveries to 10 schools over a 12 month period.  Applicants should be aged 18+.  For further information contact Carwyn on 01286 672626 or Carwyn@mantellgwynedd.com

Fair Trade Campaigner

Fairtrade School’s Assessor

The Enterprise Programme supports unemployed 18 to 30-year-olds interested in self employment to explore and test their ideas, write plans and start their own businesses or achieve alternative outcomes in employment, education, training or work. 
The role is about guidance.  It involves helping young people to find and translate information, understand problems, identify solutions and implement action plans.  It is not about you providing solutions, but guiding young people to find their own.  
The role of a business mentor is to develop good working relationships with the young people.
