Assisting in circus and arts workshops.


Cimera are looking for a volunteer to assist in the running of circus and art workshops (drama, dance, music, art, carnival etc).
Supporting the young people taking part in the workshops.

Volunteer Marshals for the Snowdonia Half Marathon on Saturday 25th October 2014


Tenovus raise thousands of pounds every single year through running events. The Snowdonia Marathon has been voted the best Marathon in the UK, but it is also regarded as one of the most difficult! Participants can expect not only beautiful scenery, but also first class event organisation and warm local hospitality. Volunteers are needed to help man the Tenovus water stations and cheering points along the Snowdonia Half Marathon route and help create a great presence for the race participants.

Charity shop Assistant


Oxfam charity shop in Porthmadog are seeking volunteers. Main roles are sorting clothes, pricing and till duties (till training will be provided).  Travelling expenses are covered.

Confirming fixtures scheduled by FAW (with opposing teams).
To provide coaches with written instruction concerning week to week matches (to hand out to all players).
To deal with all matters raised by FAW.
To keep records of all the players and coaches.

Prince's Trust Cymru Business Mentor


The Enterprise Programme supports unemployed 18 to 30-year-olds interested in self employment to explore and test their ideas, write plans and start their own businesses or achieve alternative outcomes in employment, education, training or work. 
The role is about guidance.  It involves helping young people to find and translate information, understand problems, identify solutions and implement action plans.  It is not about you providing solutions, but guiding young people to find their own.  
The role of a business mentor is to develop good working relationships with the young people.

Down's Syndrome Association

This volunteering opportunity is to provide job support and coaching for a person with Down's syndrome in their place of work.  You will become their colleague and encourage them to be involved in the social side of work too.
