Stepping Stones - Community Coordinator (18+)


To organise Volunteer and community support within the community.  Taking a lead role in developing relationships with business, schools and community groups to raise the awareness and support of the charity.   A confident person with excellent organisational and people skills, experience of working within a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.

Stepping Stones - Fundraising Volunteer (18+)


To support fundraising initiatives and events, within the community, to raise the profile of the charity and donations.

To help set up and staff displays at conferences.  To act as an ambassador for the charity, within the community, areas available are Wrexham, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Conwy and Anglesey.

NYAS - Volunteer Befriender for a young person


The volunteer would befriend a young person in Bala. They would assist by supporting the person to access activities in the community once a month, providing support and advice.  This volunteering role is suitable for people aged 18+

Trainee Lifeguard – Harlech and Ardudwy Leisure


To assist Teachers, Lifeguards with taking out and keeping equipment.

Swimming training and the opportunity to further one’s self by doing NPLQ COURSE if swimming standard is reached.  Age requirements for the role: 16+

Gardening Volunteer – Wild Elements


Wild Elements’ outdoor experience doesn’t end with our Forest schools and play schemes. We work with the local community to produce gardening projects to help enrich the community in simple ways they wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to do. Not only that but Wild Elements has its own plot of land that requires regular care and we would like your help to do it.

Community Fundraiser – Action on Hearing Loss


Could you spare a couple of hours to help raise vital funds to support people with hearing loss? We need collection volunteers to become part of the Wales Fundraising team and help with our numerous fundraising activities.

You'll be directly supporting people with a hearing loss through the donations we receive. You'll be interacting with the public to accept and thank donations. You'll be given an official T-shirt and collection tins/bucket. Support will be provided by your regional fundraiser. No counting and banking of monies involved. Out of pocket expenses will be paid according to Action on Hearing Loss policy.  Suitable for people aged 16+

Cycle Ride Leader (female) – Welsh Cycling


Be part of a women's only project to get more women cycling - Breeze. 

Breeze offers women flexible, safe, accessible and fun opportunities to ride a bike. These rides are free, friendly and open to women of all ages and abilities. 

You will be trained to become a Breeze Champion; a female volunteer who will lead the cycle rides.  You will be supported by Welsh Cycling and provided with Champion kit as well as British Cycling membership.  It is expected that you will complete 12 rides per year; these rides can fit around when you are available and local to you.   

Rides can range from 3 miles to 50+ miles, whatever you want to plan.  The emphasis is on social riding where women get together to get active. 

This role is flexible although we ask volunteers to run 12 rides per year.  This role suitable for people aged 18+

Technology Support Co-ordinator - RNIB


Are you interested in making technology accessible for all?  Could you coordinate and support volunteers in your area who help people with sight loss with their technology? If you have great organisation and communication skills and have an interest in helping people learn about and use technology, this could be the role for you.
