new volunteers to its existing Snowdon Volunteer Warden team. Team members

and reassurance on route choice and safety on the mountain; keeping the busiest
paths free of litter and carrying out basic footpath maintenance work.
To engage with walkers and provide information and advice
on:
- route choice, suitable equipment for the terrain and weather
conditions (footwear etc), local
services, safety considerations on the
Mountain.
To inform the duty warden and if necessary contact the
rescue services in the event of a serious incident. To keep a record of and
report to the duty warden at the end of the day all minor incidents. To carry out litter picks on the paths and
around the summit. To carry out basic
maintenance to paths and to report back on any major issues.
