Side by Side telephone volunteer – Alzheimer’s Society Cymru
The base for this role is flexible & will be agreed
with your role manager. You could
volunteer from home or in your local Alzheimer’s Society office. The level of commitment for this role can be
agreed based on your availability & will be discussed at your first meeting
with the Side by Side Coordinator. This could be during afternoons, evening or
weekends.

As a Side by Side telephone volunteer, you will provide
friendly, tailored conversations with people living with dementia. You will be
connected with people based on their interests.
Your involvement will support people with dementia to feel less isolated
& focuses on individual’s strengths to remain connected, feel valued &
more confident.
