We are looking to recruit a Group Coordinator for the
Gwynedd & Ynys Môn Group. As a Group Coordinator, you will be acting as an
ambassador for the group, developing annual plans, leading the group’s
activities, recruiting and supporting group volunteers.
We are a small but active group organising a range of
activities for people living with MS locally including two exercise classes, a
choir, monthly neuro cafe, boccia sessions, ad hoc coffee and information
sessions around the area. We meet monthly as a team & as Group Co-ordinator
you will work alongside the other volunteers locally & be supported by the
Local Network Officer for North Wales.
You’ll have an interest in the MS Society & the work
that we do, as well as the enthusiasm to represent both us and our values
locally. You'll understand the needs of people affected by MS in your area
& be sympathetic to the needs & motivations of volunteers. You'll be
able to support & coordinate a team of volunteers.
