This June, Tenovus Cancer Care is holding its first ever
Twilight Trek, an attempt to climb Wales’ highest mountain,at night! We’re looking for experienced outdoor
enthusiasts to help us guarantee a fun, safe and enjoyable experience for our
trekkers.
What will I be doing?
Volunteer Walker (Medium - Fast pace)
Keeping up with our fastest walkers, you’ll support the
dedicated Mountain Leaders (ML’s) in charge ensuring our fundraisers are
supported during their trek. Providing support to ensure the event runs
smoothly and safely. Chat to our fundraisers ensuring that we provide a warm,
welcoming environment. In the event of
an emergency, you may be required to assist a member of the group back down the
mountain (alongside another ML).
Volunteer Walker (Slow - Medium pace)
Keeping a slower pace, you will support the dedicated
Mountain Leaders (ML’s) in charge ensuring our fundraisers are supported during
their trek. Providing supporting to ensure the event runs smoothly and safely.
