Camp volunteers will be working closely with one assigned
sibling group for the week. The volunteer’s role will be to act in a supportive
and befriending capacity, to be part of the smooth & safe running of the
camps, and to ensure a high quality experience for the young people who attend.
Volunteers will work under the direction of the Camp
Leader to ensure the ethos and values of Siblings Together are promoted through
the camps. Supervision is offered within a group each evening and individually
if required.
Job requirements
1.
To work closely with the Camp Leader and other staff and volunteers to ensure
the safe and successful running of the camp.
2.
To always ensure relevant child protection and health and safety procedures are
adhered to and carried out, following good practice guidelines.
3.
To work closely with the young people,being fully involved in their daily lives
whilst at camp and supporting them to get the most out of their time at camp
