Tennis
is seen by many as an elite sport, enjoyed only by those who can afford to
travel to, and join, private tennis clubs in their nearest large town. At
Tennis Connect we want to change that reality and help give greater
opportunities to children living in more disadvantaged areas of Wales to get
involved with the sport.
As
one of our Ambassadors you will play a key role in growing the influence of
Tennis Connect in Wales, by connecting schools with local tennis coaches, and
vice versa.
Our
work involves speaking schools and coaches, either in person or over the phone,
to get an agreement in principle from both parties, before putting them in
contact with each other to finalise the arrangement and agree timings.
You
can give as little, or as much, time to the cause as you like, but a passion
