Watchkeepers are the eyes and ears along our coastline,
keeping a visual watch, monitoring radio channels and making full use of our
binoculars and telescopes, weather instrumentation and telephone contact with
Holyhead Coastguard. Watchkeepers are
required to perform a minimum of two watches per month at a time of their
choosing: Watches are from 10am to 3pm
in the Winter and from 11am to 4pm during British Summer Time. This role is suitable for people aged 18+.
