To support visitors to summer events in Caernarfon and
Anglesey this summer. Volunteers will be
trained in aspects of World War One history, to research names in the Book of
Remembrance as well transcribe them (this creates the "search"
function on the digital version of the book), as well as the Wales at War
website. Events include an exhibition at
Saint Mary's church in Caernarfon as well as Oriel Ynys Mon and the National
Eisteddfod in Bodedern. Events will take
place in June, July and August in the Arfon area of Gwynedd and in Llangefni
and Bodedern, Anglesey. Dates include 12-17 June, 30 July and 4-12 August.
