As part of this role, you will provide awareness raising
talks about diabetes, including information on the signs, symptoms, causes,
treatments, and risks and what support and services Diabetes UK can offer
people living with diabetes. These talks can be delivered to community groups
and professional/corporate organisations.
You will have the opportunity to build your experience
and skills in this area by responding to requests for your attendance at
different events and arranging your own talks where appropriate, supported by
the team in your local office. We provide presentations in the English and
Welsh language.
