Trustee - Welsh Institute of Therapeutic Horsmanship

• Attend and actively participate in quarterly trustee meetings
• Ensure that WITH complies with its governing document, charity law and other relevant legislation or regulations
• Ensure that WITH pursues its charitable objects as defined in the governing document
• Ensure that WITH applies its resources exclusively in pursuance of its charitable objects
• Contribute actively to the Board's role in giving firm strategic direction to WITH, setting overall policy, defining goals, setting targets and evaluating performance against agreed targets
• Safeguard the good name and values of WITH and to comply with the Code of Conduct for Trustees
• Ensure the financial stability and effective and efficient administration of WITH
• Protect and manage the property of WITH and to ensure the proper investment of the charity's funds
• Appoint and support WITH staff and volunteers and monitor their performance.

Conservation Volunteer - Snowdonia Society

Join us for a variety of exciting workdays all over Snowdonia National Park.  Make friends, have fun and make a difference to your local area. There are at least three workdays a month times vary to include both weekdays and weekends to make volunteering accessible for everyone.
Tasks vary monthly but include opportunities such as dolphin and porpoise surveys, tree planting, litter pick ups both on Snowdon and other areas around the National Park, Rhododendron clearance, otter surveys and footpath maintenance.

North Wales Pride 2015 event volunteer

Cymru Pride Wales are seeking volunteer to help out during the North Wales Pride 2015 event. The event will be held on the weekend 24th-26th July 201 at Hendre Hall on the outskirts of Bangor.
We have various opportunities available including car parking attendants, camping field attendants, assisting the entertainment team (welcoming special guests and general run around), assisting with the main reception/welcome desk team, questionnaire volunteers - asking guests for their views,assisting with ensuring guests enjoy their time at the event and other related tasks. Above all, you will feel part of a friendly team and contribute towards the success of this third North Wales Pride event!

Law Works is a charitable organisation.
We help develop and support the provision of free legal advice services to individuals, and small voluntary organisations, who cannot access legal aid, and are otherwise unable to afford to pay for legal advice.
Law Works was established in 1997, and Law Works Cymru was launched in 2013.

Volunteer Shared Reading Facilitator - North Wales Make Friends With a Book Project

North Wales 'Make Friends with a Book' Project is looking for volunteers to facilitate shared reading groups across Gwynedd.

The role is to enable people to benefit from a regular shared reading experience. Paired with another volunteer facilitator, you will be responsible for delivering a shared reading group on a weekly basis.

Time commitment per week:  2-3 hours (You will need to prepare for and deliver a session at the same time each week. The session itself will last for around an hour and a half)

Quality Assurance Volunteer (18+) - North Wales Police

Aim- To enhance the quality of the policing service to victims of crime

Activities/ Tasks

• To provide a quality service to victims of crime by maintaining regular contact.
• Providing victims with regular updates on crime investigations.
• Ensuring that Victim Contact Agreements have been agreed and that they have the Reporting Officers [RO] details and crime reference number.
• Ensuring that the Victim Needs Assessment has been completed by the RO.
• Signposting victims to support agencies.
• Updating victim contact details on RMS.
•  Informing District Inspectors of excellent service/Performance issues in relation to the RO.

Sport & Play Instructor - Balkans Expedition Autumn 2015 - World at Play

Join the World At Play team on an 8 week expedition to the Balkans and make a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged young people:
Eight volunteers along with a Team Leader run developmental play and sport sessions at our partner organisations in Croatia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Serbia and Romania.
All Volunteers receive full training as Play Leaders.
You will get first hand experience in an international development charity.
You will explore a region beyond the tourist trail and have one of the most unforgettable experiences of your life.

Charity Collection Tin Coordinator - Marie Curie Cancer Care

You'll be amazed how much money is donated through collection boxes placed within the local community, and as a Collection Box Coordinator you will be responsible for your own network of boxes in your local area. Whether it's a local shop or leisure centre, the more boxes you can place and collect, the more money you will raise for Marie Curie.
As a Collection Box Coordinator you will visit existing sites a few times a year to swap full tins for empty ones and use your local knowledge to seek new locations. You'll also play a key part in the Great Daffodil Appeal in March, by helping to place and collect daffodil boxes.
