Volunteer Support Line Operators Cymru - Survivors Trust Wales

Volunteer for The Survivors Trust Cymru Sexual Abuse and Rape Support Line
Are you looking to do some worthwhile volunteering? Are you good at listening, non-judgemental and empathic?

Survivors Trust Cymru is an umbrella organisation supporting the specialist rape and sexual abuse voluntary sector in Wales. An important part of our role involves campaigning for improved services for and supporting survivors of rape, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and sexual exploitation in Wales.
We are currently recruiting volunteers for our Support Line.  The purpose of the support line is to provide a listening ear, support and information for victims and survivors and to signpost to other support services.
The Support Line will be run remotely, which means volunteers can be based in their own home or come to the TST offices in Merthyr Tydfil. Volunteers will need to attend a full comprehensive training programme, and commit to a minimum of 2 hours a week volunteering.
