• Attend and actively participate in quarterly trustee meetings
• Ensure that WITH complies with its governing document, charity law and other relevant legislation or regulations
• Ensure that WITH pursues its charitable objects as defined in the governing document
• Ensure that WITH applies its resources exclusively in pursuance of its charitable objects
• Contribute actively to the Board's role in giving firm strategic direction to WITH, setting overall policy, defining goals, setting targets and evaluating performance against agreed targets
• Safeguard the good name and values of WITH and to comply with the Code of Conduct for Trustees
• Ensure the financial stability and effective and efficient administration of WITH
• Protect and manage the property of WITH and to ensure the proper investment of the charity's funds
• Appoint and support WITH staff and volunteers and monitor their performance.
