Fundraising Groups organise collections and fundraising
events and encourage support for Marie Curie from the local community.
With your leadership, the group will make the most
of all fundraising opportunities in your local area. You
will help to form a cohesive fundraising team who are focused on raising as
much money as possible for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
What we need you to do:
• Help the Fundraising Group plan and organise a calendar
of fundraising events
• Lead the group on all activities
• Encourage support for Marie Curie Cancer Care, forming
and maintaining relationships with local supporters
• Recruit and welcome new members to the group when
required
• Chair group meetings ensuring all points of view are
considered.
