In this project volunteers will work with people with and
without a learning disability to help interpret and share important stories on
the theme of friendships and relationships for people with a learning
disability.
This may include:
• Attending
monthly workshops
• Attending
a group for people with a learning disability to get to know other people
involved in the project.
• Listening
to stories before each workshop and thinking about how they make you feel and
how the story is important.
• Sharing
any skills and knowledge you have that may be relevant to the project.
• Helping
to design and promote the pop-up and scattered exhibitions
• Staffing
our pop-up exhibitions and scattered exhibits.
We would like you to attend our monthly volunteer
meetings for about 2-3 hours on a Saturday. The meetings will take place at
museums in the 4 towns so we’re looking for volunteers who live in the area
around Bangor
