The Woodland Working Group Member will form part of a
working group of volunteers at Coed Cadnant site. The purpose of this role is
to assist in the maintenance, care and conservation of the site within the
guidelines of the site risk assessment and to support the goals of the site
management plan.
The key aims of the role are to;
• Support fellow volunteers on woodland working days to
carry out key tasks
• Use tools and equipment as needed within health and
safety guidelines, the appropriate
training will be provided by the Woodland Working Group Leader or Volunteer
Manager
• Work on tasks following the guidance of the Woodland
Working Group Leader and Volunteer Manager
• Working within Woodland Trust policies and procedures
such as but not exclusively; Health & Safety, Safeguarding and Woodland Working
Group Guidelines provided by the Woodland Working Group Leader or Volunteer
Manager
• Contribute ideas on how to improve the area for the
local community
