Overview:
You will act out certain casualty situations at our
training sessions in order to enable those learning first aid to 'treat' you,
which can help boost their confidence and competence in a first aid emergency.
Typical tasks include:
- Acting as a
casualty within training sessions and annual assessments
- Acting appropriate to the condition/injury being
portrayed
- Supporting the work of trainers
- The volunteering mostly takes place at weekends, and
you may be required on consecutive days
