You can really make a difference in your local community
by raising awareness of macular conditions and the help and support that is
available. Volunteer speakers deliver
informative and enlightening talks to groups in their local area. You will need
to be able to travel but we will meet all your expenses.
As a speaker, you will talk about your own experience of
macular disease, whether you have md yourself or are a friend or family member
of someone with the condition.
Our speakers do not charge for the talks they deliver,
the aim is to raise awareness of macular conditions and the work of the Macular
Society.
